About the role

As the e-commerce Intern, you will be responsible for supporting, develop and execute the strategic sales plan for our product portfolio across e-Commerce and in particular Amazon.

You will play a role in supporting the National Account Manager in building and maintaining strong internal relationships cross-functionally, implementing effective sales strategies, contributing to delivering key revenue targets and providing the consumer with the best possible shopping experience. 

Key Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Support the National Account Manager to develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for our FMCG products on the Amazon platform, aligned with company goals and objectives.  
  • Engage externally with a variety of stakeholders to help drive sales growth, optimise product visibility, and develop opportunities.  
  • Monitor and analyse sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.  
  • Support NPD launches as part of the go to market process.   
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, supply chain, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of sales plans and e-Commerce content.  
  • Conduct regular reviews to ensure best in class product display pages are maintained, inclusive of Amazon Brandstore and A+ Content.    
  • Identify and capitalise on emerging e-commerce trends and opportunities within the e-commerce ecosystem to maximise our brand presence and revenue.  
  • Stay up to date with industry developments, competitor strategies, and e-commerce best practices to continually refine our approach and educate the wider business.

Job requirements

  • Currently studying for a degree (or equivalent).
  • Capabilities in Microsoft Excel would be beneficial.
  • Keen interest and desire to learn about the e-Commerce environment.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Self-motivated, can-do attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
