AI can be helpful, but your recruitment experience should reflect your own ideas, judgement and personality.
We encourage innovation while valuing fairness, transparency and authenticity.
This guidance is here to help you use AI responsibly while staying true to yourself.
Your story matters, not an AI-generated one.
AI can help refine what you’ve written, but it shouldn’t replace your voice.
Authenticity helps us understand who you are and what you can bring.
Use the tools to build confidence, not scripts.
AI can support your preparation, but interviews are human conversations.
We want to meet the person behind the application, your experiences and perspective.
Show us how you think and collaborate.
Our assessments focus on your creativity, problem solving and teamwork. AI should only support your preparation, not influence the work itself.
We’re interested in your original thinking and approach.
You can use AI to check spelling or structure, but the content must be your own words. We want to understand your real experience and motivations.
Yes, as long as it’s used to practise, not to script. Avoid using AI tools in the interview itself.
AI may help you prepare, but it doesn’t replace being authentic, confident and well-prepared. We assess you.
You can practise task types, but your assessment work must be entirely your own. We’re looking for your ideas and your approach.
No. At CGI UK, all screening, assessment and hiring decisions are made by people. Whilst we’re happy for you to use AI to support your application, we do not currently use AI tools to screen candidates or make hiring decisions. Our recruitment process is designed to ensure fairness, consistency and transparency, with human recruiters and hiring managers fully responsible for evaluating your skills, experience and fit for the role. This is in line with our commitment to human-centred hiring and transparency in how we use (and do not use) AI in recruitment.
To ensure fairness, consistency and transparency across the recruitment process - and to help you put your best foot forward.
