Prior to joining Amazon, Matylda was a student at WSB University in Wrocław. She studied Tourism and Recreation, received a Master's degree in Management, and discovered she was passionate about leadership and people management.
Her role as Area Manager has allowed her to explore this passion and, in addition to ensuring her team has everything they need to perform their duties on a daily basis, she enjoys introducing new innovations and projects to continuously improve her team’s impact on the customer experience. Matylda identifies strongly with Amazon’s ‘Earn Trust’ and ‘Bias for Action’ Leadership Principles and works to apply them daily in her role.
Matylda says, “Building relationships and commitment to employees in the team is very important to me. I place great emphasis on the development of my Associates; their motivation is the basis for a job well done and achieving established goals.” She feels the dynamic work environment at Amazon, as well as the people management and projects, provide many opportunities to always be ready for action. Every day is truly day one.
Outside work Matylda enjoys travelling and exploring the world, learning about other cultures, and making new and interesting friendships. She says, “Each journey gives me a lot of satisfaction, near and far. Of course, the greatest dream is to visit every corner of the world.”
