After graduating from law school in 2018, Radhika never expected to find herself working in Fulfilment Centre Management. She is now approaching two years with Amazon as an Area Manager, overseeing the Stowing department at the EU’s largest Fulfilment Centre, LCY2 based in Tilbury, UK. When inventory comes into the building, her team ensures it is assigned to a location so it can be picked, packed, and shipped to customers.
Radhika’s favourite Leadership Principle is ‘Customer Obsession.’ She loves Amazon’s customer-centric mentality and how dedicated her Associates are to consistently improving the customer experience. She also appreciates the diverse pool of talent at Amazon, from MBA graduates to ex-military to other graduates from many different backgrounds, she has met other enthusiastic and passionate people on the job who all bring something fun and peculiar to the team.
Radhika says, “There are many great aspects of working for Amazon, they really allow you to think the unthinkable and explore multiple opportunities for process improvement and self-development.” One of the things she loves the most is the constant energy and excitement that comes from working for Amazon. “No day is quite like the last and there is always something new to get involved in, from departmental projects to larger movements such as Women in Operations.”
