The Defence & Nuclear Technology Solutions (UK) division is seeking a Graduate Commercial Analyst to join the Bids & Capture team, supporting business-winning activities across defence, civil government and nuclear programmes.
This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience working on strategic pursuits and live opportunities, developing a strong foundation across commercial management, bid development, capture planning and contract management.

As a Graduate Commercial Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the development of competitive, compliant and commercially robust proposals. Working alongside experienced commercial, bid and capture professionals, you will assist with reviewing tender documentation, developing commercial responses, assessing risk and supporting the preparation of customer proposals.
You will also gain exposure to pricing assumptions, contract negotiation activities and commercial governance processes that support major business opportunities.
The role will involve close collaboration with Business Development, Finance, Legal, Project Delivery and Technical teams to support the successful delivery of bids and capture activities. You will contribute to market engagement initiatives, capture planning workshops, win strategy development and customer-focused solution development activities. In addition, you will support the management of commercial risks and opportunities, maintaining risk registers and commercial records throughout the opportunity lifecycle.
You will also gain experience reviewing customer terms and conditions, supporting contractual assessments and developing an understanding of UK Government procurement practices, NEC contracts and commercial contracting principles. Through participation in bid reviews, lessons learned sessions and continuous improvement initiatives, you will help drive commercial excellence and business-winning success across the organisation.
This position forms part of a structured graduate development programme, offering the opportunity to work towards professional accreditation such as World Commerce & Contracting (WCC), the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS), the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) or the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
You will also develop knowledge of the Defence, Government and Nuclear sectors while building capabilities in digital technologies, data analysis and Artificial Intelligence applications within the commercial environment. The role requires a proactive approach, strong analytical thinking and a willingness to learn and develop new skills in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment.
