We have a great opportunity for a hardworking Entry Level CAD Engineer to support our growing engineering team in the UK.

You will have the opportunity to work closely with all engineering disciplines, understand their requirements and provide solutions such as software tools and workflows to help the teams work more efficiently and be successful in delivery of industry leading mixed-signal SOCs for consumer markets. Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain software integral to engineering flows
  • Collaborate with engineering teams and deliver solutions to ensure workflows are as efficient and effective as possible
  • Support tools and methodologies for all engineering disciplines
  • Evaluate latest/new vendor tools and integrate into engineering workflows as required
  • Collaborate with EDA providers to drive improvements and bug fixes
  • Debug and quickly provide solutions to issues impacting engineering
  • Develop a deep knowledge of the engineering environment covering infrastructure

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Master’s/Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Electronics Engineering (or related discipline)
  • Strong diagnostic and analytical skills
  • Basic knowledge of semiconductor physics would be advantageous
  • An innovative, creative, lateral thinking problem solver
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret results
  • Strong ability to relay complex information and collaborate with diverse teams using high level communication skills
  • Linux knowledge and understanding of data-management software
