Application Process

Depending on the role you are applying for, the application process will differ. You may be asked to upload a CV and personal statement or complete an application form with competency-based assessment.

In both cases you should refer to the role profile which will be attached to the job advert. The role profile provides you with an overview of the role and its key responsibilities, the essential criteria needed to undertake the role effectively, and the personal qualities/competencies that will be assessed as part of your application.

 Hints and Tips

  • Provide evidence – When answering an application form question or completing a personal statement, provide examples of when you have utilised a skill/competence.
  • Demonstrate your skills – When providing examples focus on the role YOU played.
  • Transferable skills – Consider using examples where you can transfer your skills and experience to make them relevant to the role you are applying for.
  • Check – Re-read your application/CV for spelling, grammar and formatting prior to submitting.
  • Time – Give yourself plenty of time to complete your application – the application deadline date and time will be listed on the job advert.
