Binnies Academy

At Binnies Academy, our key motivation is to pass on our practical knowledge to enhance the abilities of every individual and organisation that works with us.

We offer training and development in a range of technical courses and support to individuals on professional institution membership routes. Training and development are only the first steps; working with organisations, we embed the learning then assure the results with our accreditation process.

Proven benefits of training staff include an increased capacity for innovation, the adoption of new methods, employee motivation and job satisfaction. These benefits positively affect both the employees and the organisation.

Our trainers are experts in their fields and all provide award-winning consultancy services for our clients. It is this practical knowledge and industry sector experience that sets Binnies Academy apart from other training organisations.

Chartership

Chartered Engineers are characterised by their ability to develop appropriate solutions to engineering problems, using new or existing technologies, through innovation, creativity and change.

They might develop and apply new technologies, promote advanced designs and design methods, introduce new and more efficient production techniques or marketing and construction concepts or pioneer new engineering services and management methods.

Chartered Engineers are variously engaged in technical and commercial leadership and possess effective interpersonal skills.

Service offered: We offer coaching for individuals and groups of graduates, at various stages of their progress, towards Chartership. From EngTech to CEng, we will be with you every step of the way.

Why Binnies?

Our engineers are Chartership reviewers for a host of institutions: the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE), the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE), the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM) and the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE). Some of our reviewers are also review panel members at the forefront of institution decisions.
