About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join us as a Project Officer in ICT. 

What you will be doing? 

The postholder will support the delivery of projects, from initial concept to implementation, to include projects, organisational change, and improvement, risk & benefit identification, management, and reporting.

The postholder will be required to support the development of business cases ensuing briefs and feasibility proposals, business cases and project plans are developed in accordance the project aims and objectives and to project management standards. 

The postholder will support the delivery of projects and change, will be highly solutions focussed and a skilled problem solver.

Disgwylir i’r daliwr swydd gefnogi datblygu achosion busnes, gan sicrhau bod briffiau a chynigion dichonolrwydd, achosion busnes a chynlluniau prosiect yn cael eu datblygu yn unol â nodau ac amcanion y prosiect a hyd safonau rheoli prosiect.

Bydd y daliwr swydd yn cefnogi cyflenwi prosiectau a newid. Bydd yn canolbwyntio ar ddatrysiadau ac yn ddatryswr problemau medrus. 

Tasgau Penodol y Rôl: 

  • Cefnogi prosiectau/ffrydiau gwaith o fewn prosiectau a newid sy’n gymesur â sgiliau, gwybodaeth a phrofiad, gan weithredu’n unol ag ymagwedd safonol yr Heddlu tuag at reoli prosiectau a newid, gan gipio, dadansoddi a dogfennu gwybodaeth prosiect i gynnwys datblygu achosion busnes, cynlluniau, risgiau a manteision er mwyn sicrhau bod y rhain yn addas ar gyfer y diben ac yn archwiliadau, gan gefnogi cyflenwi newid yn effeithiol.
  • Argymell a dylanwadau ar newidiadau/gwelliannau i brosesau sy’n ofynnol ar gyfer sicrhau cyflenwi gwasanaethau plismona a sicrhau arferion llywodraethu da.
  • Ymgymryd ag adolygiadau proses a hwyluso cyfarfodydd allweddol a gweithdai i fapio a gwerthuso gwasanaethau, prosesau a gweithredu newid yn feirniadol er mwyn gwella cyflenwi gwasanaethau.
  • Paratoi adroddiadau a gwybodaeth er mwyn briffio a hysbysu gwneuthurwyr penderfyniadau o fewn y sefydliad a diweddaru am gynnydd ynghylch newidiadau.
  • Cefnogi cyflenwi’r fframwaith gwireddu buddiannau busnes sy’n cyfrannu at osod y Cynllun Ariannol Tymor Canolig a Chynllun Arbedion yr Heddlu.
  • Monitro mesurau sicrwydd busnes/ansawdd, gan gynnwys adolygiadau cam, interim ac ôlweithredu, safonau, a gweithdrefnau; er mwyn sicrhau bod prosiectau, newid, systemau a gwasanaethau’n bodloni anghenion yr heddlu. 
  • Gweithio gyda Rheolwyr Prosiect i annog a hyrwyddo prosiectau, newid a gwella parhaus ar bob lefel o fewn yr Heddlu.
  • Datblygu a chynnal cyfathrebu effeithiol gyda rhanddeiliaid allweddol mewnol ac allanol.
  • Rhannu eich profiadau a’ch dysgu eich hun, gan ddarparu cyfleoedd dysgu a datblygu lle bo’n bosibl.
  • Cefnogi gweithredu unrhyw argymhellion Archwilio Mewnol perthnasol.
  • Cyflawni unrhyw ddyletswyddau eraill sy’n gymesur â’r rôl, yn unol â chyfarwyddyd yr Uwch Dîm Rheoli.
