PJA was commissioned by Inland Homes to provide transport planning and design advice for a residential-led mixed use development scheme at Chapel Riverside in Southampton.
The development will accommodate 457 residential units as well as 5,000sq.m of commercial space and will create a new neighbourhood with generous green spaces and an extension of the Riverfront Walk, which integrates the site into the wider city area.
Carrington Street/Middle Hill, Nottingham
PJA was appointed by Nottingham City Council to provide highway and urban design advice for streetscape improvements to Carrington Street, Canal Street and Middle Hill.

The modelling also allowed the time taken for all spectators to empty the stadium to be established.

Melton North Sustainable Urban Extension
PJA provided transport planning and engineering input into two outline planning applications forming part of the wider Melton North Sustainable Urban Extension.
PJA was appointed by Richborough Estates and Leicestershire County Council for the two adjacent schemes, which promote up to 700 dwellings, a new primary school and an extension to an existing secondary school, forming part of a wider SUE for up to 1,900 dwellings.
Former Prison Sites
PJA was commissioned by City & Country to provide transport planning advice for the conversion of two former Victorian prisons to residential apartment developments. Former HMP Kingston is located to the east of Portsmouth City Centre, in a residential area close to the Portsmouth City Football Club.
PJA provided extensive advice on the internal layout of the site, along with the access strategy for the development. The historic nature of the prison buildings, along with the restrictions of the perimeter walls present challenges in achieving effective vehicular access.
