We are looking to recruit a Graduate to support the continuing success of our Water Resourcing Team in our Birmingham and Bristol offices.

What we do

At PJA, we have a team of water specialists, skilled in dealing with the diverse challenges of our everchanging climate through provision of integrated water management.  This ranges from complex modelling of rivers and floodplains to negotiating enhancements to biodiversity and landscaping, from implementing sustainable drainage measures to innovative integrated systems of managing flood risk of all forms. 

We are experts in delivering combined engineering, environmental and sustainable solutions with a commercial focus to support decision makers in understanding and coping with flood risk.

Your role

The Graduates in our Water Resources Team support the wider PJA business by delivering Flood Risk Assessments, undertaking hydraulic modelling, supporting Lead Local Flood Authorities and much more. 

Our ideal candidate 

We welcome your application if you have graduated within the last 12 months, or are due to graduate in 2024, with a predicted 2.1 (or above) Bachelor’s degree and/or a Master’s degree in one of the following subjects:

Geography, Civil Engineering, Water Engineering, Flood Risk Management, Environmental Sciences.
