LCP Delta, our energy team, has passionate people using data, insights and models across all aspects of energy, from customers and domestic scale technologies, up to national energy infrastructure, networks and generation. We have a mission to accelerate the energy transition globally, supporting a range of clients from energy giants to start-ups, traders to strategists, investors to manufacturers. This application is for a position as a research consultant, working either in our Consulting Research & Analysis department or Subscription Research team based in our Edinburgh Office.
This role is on the Graduate programme only.
LCP Delta’s consulting analysis and subscription research teams work with some of the leading players in the European and UK energy markets, including analysing the opportunities for emerging technologies, supporting investors with decision making, and developing in depth understanding of customers to support new proposition development.
A graduate working in either our consulting analysis or subscription research teams will develop a wide range of techniques and skills across a range of topics to support one-off client projects, and the production of our research materials for subscriptions.
Our recruitment process is not looking to catch you out but support you in showcasing your skills and knowledge. We encourage you to declare extenuating circumstances as this will help us better understand your eligibility.
We encourage graduates to do on-the job training making use of the broad expertise across the team and the broader LCP Learning training resources. We also conduct in-house skills training across a range of skills and topics to support the development of knowledge on the energy transition, alongside specific research skills, project management techniques, or business development skills needed to support our business.
There are no formal qualifications expected.
Over the coming years, energy markets across the world are set to undergo a rapid transition in both the supply of energy and the way it is managed and consumed. Throughout your journey as a graduate in LCP Delta you will be able to make a difference to the energy transition, providing our clients with leading information, analysis, insight and advice. There is no fixed career path with LCP Delta, but instead graduates are encouraged to take on responsibility at an early stage and pursue what interests them. In the last few years, graduates have gone on to lead major consulting projects, become internationally recognised industry experts, and even become partners at LCP.
