We are looking for people with a curious mind who wish to explore the exciting field of technology and develop their career in a diverse, innovative, global organisation. Our programme is designed to give you the flexibility to build the career you have always wanted, or one you never knew you’d like, either by working towards a specialism or by building a more general skillset.
Our dynamically structured induction programme will provide training, mentors and a network of graduates, all to support your entry into the dynamic world of technology at HSBC and help you to develop the technical and personal attributes required for your success.
Year 1 is all about learning. You’ll gain a broad understanding of HSBC, technology and your role, whilst developing core skills to help further your career.
Year 2 is all about the application of what you have learnt and adding value to the role as well as having the opportunity to rotate and try new teams within Technology.
At the end of the programme you’ll have the option to continue in the role/team you have spent your time with or choose to explore different opportunities within HSBC Technology. We will support you no matter which step you take.
Throughout the programme you will be immersed in an environment that thrives on individual growth. You will have access to our very own Technology Academy, professional development series, mentorship opportunities, leadership talks and team activities with other Technology Graduates from the global community.
The programme will cover roles in Cyber, AI, Data, Cloud, and Digital Channels and Products.
You will become a Technical Specialist in your designated area or a Technology Generalist who can work across the entire landscape. We need both to help us drive innovation throughout the organisation.
Requirements: Have graduated between 2019 to 2022. You will have achieved or will be on track to achieve a minimum of a 2:2 Degree classification. Be fluent in English. Have the right to work full time in the UK. Be located near or within commuting distance to Sheffield.
