I am in the Marketing Rotation Program in Communication Solutions Group. This is a two-year rotation in which the first year is spent on various projects and pre-sales support while the second year is spent on longer projects. In my first six months I have been supporting Signal Analyzers and had several marketing projects. This includes commercial videos for Insight, publishing blog tutorials, and updating one of the landing pages on Keysight.com.
I graduated with my degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering, with an emphasis in RF/Microwave. My major and background in RF has been helpful in my job as I now support a high frequency instrument, and having a fundamental background in RF / Microwave has been very helpful. This has provided an essential foundation for my job. It is different in the sense that now I know the practical applications of everything I have learned from school.
I have had the wonderful opportunity of being Intern Coordinator this summer, and have been coordinating our Society of Women Engineers (SWE) Webinar events.
I work on FAQs/Forums about once a week, and spend a good portion of my days working on support. This requires me to talk to the Signal Analyzer experts to understand the questions that come in and provide thorough responses for the customer.
My favourite thing about Keysight is its culture. Keysight truly values work and personal life balance which I really appreciate. I love how easy-going and willing to help everyone is. During my time as a new hire it has been important to have a supportive environment. There has never been one person that has not been willing to take time out of their day to explain something to me.
