About the programme:

The Deutsche Bank Internship Programme is designed to help you develop your skills through formal training and continuous support. You’ll quickly gain the confidence to take on real projects by learning first-hand how and what we deliver for clients worldwide. You’ll feel supported by colleagues from across our business and start to develop your professional network.

About the division:

Group Audit has over 700 staff globally, located primarily in our four hub locations: New York, London, Frankfurt and Singapore as well as in 26 other countries. The hallmarks of our professional, business focused, risk-based work are independence, integrity and transparency. Essentially, Group Audit provides an independent assessment of the efficacy of the Bank’s control environment.

Being Deutsche Bank’s ‘third line of defence’ we have a high profile in the bank as a forward looking adviser to Senior Management on issues and Group Audit is increasingly consulted for advice by our many regulators.

Our global connectivity provides a stimulating environment and the opportunity to collaborate with knowledgeable colleagues and specialists around the globe.

About the role:

Our interns are given the opportunity to learn about our business from different viewpoints, giving you a career advantage. Working on our day-to-day business as well as on special projects, you will learn how Group Audit plays an integral role in the achievement of the Group’s strategic goals, objectives and ethical standards as set by the Management Board.

You will gain experience in different areas of our business and discover our market-leading solutions first hand. The internship is an ideal way of finding out whether a career in Group Audit meets your needs and aspirations.

What we look for:

We recruit students and graduates who are intelligent and adaptable with excellent communication skills. They have degrees in many different disciplines. Even though good levels of numeracy are important for some roles, you won’t necessarily need a formal mathematical or financial background. Our comprehensive training programmes will give you all the technical knowledge you’ll need to build a career with us.

  • Be able to start full time work in July 2028, subject to local working legislation and visa requirements.
  • Return to full-time study after the 2027 internship. If you do not return to full-time study you will not be eligible for the 2028 Graduate Programme.
  • You should also be on track for a 2:1 or First (or equivalent) in your undergraduate degree.
  • Possess no more than 12 months full-time, relevant work experience.

Please note you may only make ONE application per recruitment season in the UK. If you make multiple applications with multiple profiles, you may be removed from the recruitment process.

Please note we hire on a rolling basis, and we may close the role prior to the deadline if we receive a significant number of applications. If the role is due to close early, the deadline will be updated 48 hours in advance. Please apply early to ensure your application is considered.
