Role Overview

Partnerships represents a fusion of contracting, housing and mixed-use regeneration expertise. We undertake design and build contracting, mixed tenure and speculative development, estate regeneration and property support services nationwide. We work in collaborative long-term arrangements with Registered Providers, Local Authorities and other stakeholders to build high quality housing and sustainable communities.

As an integral member of our design team, you will be involved in designing project solutions based on customer needs. Your remit will include the identification of contractual, financial, technical and operational risks, whilst spotting opportunities for value engineering. You will support the delivery of contracts safely, on time and to a high-quality standard.

  • Input in to the end to end design process; from planning application to project completion, whilst reviewing the designs on an ongoing basis to ensure that value engineering and buildability are considered
  • Managing consultant relationships and appointment to projects
  • Ensure timely registration with warranty providers i.e. NHBC, Robust Details and Building Regulation Application
  • Manage the preparation, approval and distribution of the Health and Safety File/Operating and Maintenance Manuals
  • Review design development to allow construction of works to follow safety working practices and be in accordance with current legislation, Group Policy and Procedures.
  • You will also be enrolled on the Graduate Programme so there will be a requirement to complete all learning modules, pre-work and assessments as required.

Person Specification

  • The role would be well suited to a graduate from a technical construction related degree, architecture or similar background with a minimum of a Second-Class Honours undergraduate degree
  • Computer literate and able to use Excel, Word and PowerPoint to a good standard.
  • A confident ambassador of the company
  • Ability to interpret, simplify and respond to complex documents and legislations and good analytical skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders
