The Intel Programmable Solutions Group (PSG) is looking for talented, highly motivated university students to develop next generation video, imaging and vision solutions targeting far reaching Internet of Things applications, including interactive whiteboards, digital signage, smart factory and 8K Pro A/V systems.
As an FPGA design engineer, you will be responsible for applying mathematical, software and design engineering skills to design and develop IP's and solutions as part of a system engineering team in the Intel PSG Europe HQ, located in Marlow and Basingstoke.
You will work in a rapid learning environment, alongside industry experts, who will support your daily development and knowledge growth. You will learn an Agile engineering development approach, frequently delivering high quality solutions to customers and communicating with your team daily to build innovative and creative products. Your opinions and thoughts are valued from day one.
The Intel PSG office environment offers personalised cube spaces with dedicated high specification PCs/laptops and access to local and global compute farms. On-site you also have access to a free hot/cold drinks and fruit basket, free gymnasium, weekly badminton, indoor football, cycling and trail running activities.
This is a 13-month fixed-term placement suitable for students currently studying a degree course in relevant disciplines (e.g. Computer Science), and is targeted at 2nd year students enrolled in a 4 years bachelors degree which includes a year in industry.
Candidates must be based in the United Kingdom upon the start date of this internship, and for its entire duration. We are unable to support remote working from outside the UK.
