Product Support and Spares
Martin-Baker has a long history of commitment to in-service product support and continues to supply spares to more than 90 air forces worldwide. We produce spares for all seat types in service, ranging from the latest design to legacy systems which have been in service for over 40 years.
Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul
We offer our customers dedicated Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul to help them save both time and money – our service is comparable, if not quicker, than the turnaround time taken by the customer.
Capabilities
Martin-Baker have been involved in the design, development and testing of escape systems since 1946. Testing has always been an important element of the design and development process and, over the last 70 years, the company has developed a unique set of capabilities to ensure we are at the cutting edge of aircrew safety.
Testing and Qualifications
Martin-Baker has extensive in-house subsystem and full-system test facilities approved to US and NATO military standards. Our facilities are separated into static, environmental and dynamic testing which include Human Engineering evaluation.
Pyrotechnics
Pyrotechnics have always played a large part in the design and production of our ejection seats and, most importantly, their ejections. Martin-Baker manufactures and tests all of its own pyrotechnics at the historic RAF Chalgrove Airfield.
