The Graduate Programme

The Graduate Development Programme is a two-year initiative crafted to realise your potential as an industry professional. Whether your aspirations lean towards business leadership or technical specialisation, our programme equips you for success in both realms. You can expect…

Electrical/Electronic Engineering at Sellafield Ltd

We are looking for graduates to join us who have completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical/electronic engineering. You will need to have achieved a minimum of a 2:2 classification or above to meet our entry requirements.

  • Our positions based in West Cumbria (Sellafield site and surrounding offices) include the following profession areas:
    • Construction, Commissioning and Engineering & Maintenance
  • Our positions based in Warrington (Hinton house offices and surrounding offices) include the following profession area:
    • Design Engineering

Please note: Working at Sellafield Ltd requires you to achieve both security and medical clearance throughout the on-boarding process.

What you will receive in return..

Our graduates start off with a 24-month fixed term contract, with an excellent starting salary of £40,802, rising to £41,721 in your second year with us. Following successful completion of your graduate programme and subject to there being a suitable vacancy you will be retained on permanent basis with us.

Other benefits include annual bonus of up to £4,000, relocation allowance of £1,400 subject to terms, interest free graduate loan option, 30 days annual leave with bank holidays on top and option to buy 2.5 more, attractive pension with company match up to 13.5% for 7% employee contribution. Plus many other benefits.

Our 2024 graduate cohort will join the company on the 30th September 2024.
