Inclusion & Diversity

We are committed to our people. People are at the heart of everything we do and in supporting our people, our customers and stakeholders will benefit.

At Leonardo our commitment to our people, and to being an inclusive and diverse organisation, ensures everyone who steps through our doors feels included and supported regardless of who they are. By understanding our people and what they need better, we continually work to remove barriers that people can experience when they come to work.

Our aim is for:

“Leonardo to be a welcoming, inclusive place to work for all of our people. We will strive to build an inclusive, diverse culture where individuals can thrive, feel safe and perform at their best.”

We have developed a new Inclusion & Diversity Strategy and Action Plan. This brings together in one place all the activities that we have already started and the new actions that we will be introducing in response to recent employee survey findings, feedback, external trends and best practice.

The I&D Plan follows the employee lifecycle from attraction, resourcing, developing and raising awareness through to creating the right culture.

The idea is to keep things simple and easy to understand. The plan includes clear, tangible actions underneath each of the five stages that will ensure Leonardo is an inclusive place to work for our people. It is known that whilst most, if not all, people support the idea of inclusion, they are not sure what they are meant to do about it.
