We are seeking an experienced, high-performing, and collaborative talent to join us. to meet our clients’ business needs. We deal in bespoke solutions and offer in-house training to ensure that our clients realise the full value of their big data solutions.

Tasks

  • Development/configuration of new Java-based software applications on the basis of detailed specifications
  • Design, coding and debugging of applications
  • Defining and documenting operating procedures
  • Understanding technical design specifications and translating them into implementation details
  • Supporting the general delivery process on projects, helping the customer with on-site support activities
  • Understanding and analysing a client's organisation/operation and requirements in order to produce recommendations, technical design documents and time/cost estimates

Qualifications

  • A minimum Bachelor’s degree (2.1 or higher) is required in Computer Science, or in a Technology-related field
  • Initial Java EE programming experience is preferred
  • A strong interest in specialising as a Java developer
  • Computer science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, problem-solving
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies, Javascript, HTML and CSS, Backend Systems, Database technology (MySQL/Oracle) and testing tools (J/MUnit, Mockito etc.)
  • Initial knowledge of DevOps, IDE / SVC, Git, Bitbucket, Maven, JetBrains IntelliJ etc.
