This role focuses on the development, testing, and commissioning of PLC, SCADA, historian, network, and virtual machine software systems used in water and wastewater treatment plants.
Key Responsibilities
Development of PLC HMI and SCADA software - Siemens and Allen Bradley Platforms
Development of software supporting deliverable documents like software design specification, Functional Design Specification
Customer Factory Acceptance testing of software
Commissioning the tested software at site - Engineer must physically visit sites which are water and wastewater treatment plants
Customer signoffs on documents and maintaining backups
Supporting service calls, device configurations
Location
Warrington (Job requires compulsory visiting water and wastewater treatment works and staying at site locations in northwest UK )
About You
Technical Skills:
Understanding of PLC HMI SCADA development on Siemens and Allen Bradley platforms
Understanding of industrial automation related documentation
Basic understanding of Operation Technology
Basic understanding of Control systems, Instrumentation, Electrical circuits.
Understanding of Historians
Other Skills:
Car driving is preferential skill and allowed to drive in UK and should have or ready to buy own car. (Good Fuel mileage will be provided)
Talkative and must have good verbal communication skills – should be interact with customer and internal team – cross cultural
