Happy employees make happy customers, and happy customers make for a successful, thriving company. Working at Admiral, whatever you do, you’ll be making a valuable contribution to the business. That’s why you can expect a great deal in return.
We like to say "thank you" for all your hard work!
Giving you part of the company is just one of the ways we like to reward our people. And our share scheme is our way of saying “thank you” for all your hard work!
After just a year of service, you become eligible to become a shareholder and receive up to £3,600 worth of shares every year. Thanks to our continued success over the years, we have always paid out the maximum amount.
You can sell your shares after three years, or keep them for five years and then sell them tax and NI free. In addition, you will receive a dividend on your shares twice a year. Our Share Scheme is very popular within our business, and one of the great benefits of working at Admiral.
As one of our four pillars, Reward & Recognition is extremely important to us. Happy staff make happy customers, so we have a huge range of great benefits to make sure everybody has something to smile about:
Find out how you'll be supported in terms of transitioning from university and training & development, including induction modules, relationship building and buddy schemes.
Training and professional development is extremely important to us, as we want each and every staff member to be equipped to do the best possible job. Learning new skills will be a key part of your role and you'll be supported by dedicated trainers as well as your managers.
You'll be able to request on-the-job training through our very own Admiral Academy and access e-learning courses, allowing you to learn in the way that best suits you.
As an accredited provider of Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM) courses, we also give you the chance to earn a nationally recognised qualification.
Equality is one of our four pillars and plays a key part in everything we do.
Our Equality, Diversity and Dignity at Work policy ensures that each and every employee is treated equally and fairly, regardless of their background.
People are our most important asset and we respect, value and celebrate the individuality and diversity that everyone brings.
We actively encourage job applications from anyone who has the right skills for the role.
We pride ourselves on being flexible and supportive and will do what we can do accommodate individual needs and circumstances. Our aim is to create a culturally aware workforce that mirrors the communities we serve, so we are always looking at better ways of engaging with and supporting the needs of a diverse range of people.
We also work with other organisations, including Remploy, the African Community Centre, Acorn, the Prince's Trust and Job Centre Plus. Admiral has been accredited for meeting five key standards of conduct regarding the recruitment, training, retention and career development of disabled employees.
