Application Process Guide

Our Application Process and Top Tips for your Frazer-Nash Application

At Frazer-Nash Consultancy, we believe that our application process is two ways. It’s not just about us finding the right fit for our team, but equally important for you to determine if we are the right fit for you. This guide will walk you through each stage of our application process, offering tips and insights to help you succeed and make informed decisions.

Stage 1: Application Submission

This stage will involve filling out our application form and submitting your CV. We will review your application within two weeks of submission.

Tips for CV success:

  • Ensure that it is tailored for the role – ensure to cover any relevant skills and experience.
  • Structure it accordingly – if you don’t yet have relevant experience, make sure your university degree, relevant modules and projects are in the first section.

Tips for Application Question success:

  • We will ask you a few questions for a chance for you to show us why you think the role and Frazer-Nash are right for you.
  • Please try to avoid over-relying on an AI tool to generate your answers, authenticity is key in helping us understand your unique motivations and skills.

Stage 2: Arctic Shores Assessment

If successful following our initial review, we will invite you to complete our Arctic Shores assessment – a task-based assessment looking at your natural behaviours, strengths and potential. As soon as you have completed the test, you will receive a personalised feedback report highlighting your strengths and how to further develop your skillset in certain areas. We will then be in touch whether you have been successful in progressing to the next stage within two weeks.

Tips for success:

  • Make sure you are in a quiet space with no distractions.
  • Ensure you let us know of any reasonable adjustments required beforehand.

Stage 3: Video Interview

You will be asked situation based & technical questions that are related to the important criteria needed to be successful in the role - having read the question, you will have 5 minutes to think about your answer and then one attempt to record.

Tips for success:

  • Be yourself! We are interested to learn more about your approach to solving problems.
  • Take time to review our Gradcracker Hub and the job advert beforehand to find out more about our values and the technical skills we’ll be looking for.

Stage 4: Explore Day/Final Stage Interview

The final stage of our application process will be an Explore Day for our graduate roles and a final interview for our interns and placement roles. Explore Days will involve a chance for you to learn more about Frazer-Nash and whether we are the right fit for you, this will involve a chance for you to meet our graduates, members of the hiring team and to ask plenty of questions! We will also require you to complete a 10-minute presentation and an interview so that we can learn more about you and your aspirations.

Tips for success:

  • Rehearse your presentation to family/friends, making sure that it can be completed within the 10-minute slot provided and to understand your slides.
  • Research us! Explore our Gradcracker Hub to find out more about what we do.
  • Think of examples for when you have demonstrated each relevant competency, and make sure that you know how to use the ‘STAR’ approach to answer questions.

Stage 5: Feedback and final decision

No matter the outcome, we will provide you with feedback within two weeks of your interview or Explore Day (if not sooner!). If you choose to accept our offer, you will be included within our ‘Staying Connected’ scheme which will include a chance for you to come and meet the team, speak again with our current graduates, and share your contact details with other new early careers professionals.
