"When I first started at EES I was introduced to a couple ongoing projects where I managed to get involved with some important outstanding documentation and project testing which allowed me to gather an understanding on some of the foundations in excitation systems and synchronous machines.
The company was very welcoming during the induction and made sure to answer any questions we had regarding the technical and non-technical side of the job. Some highlights for me personally were my visit to Drax power station within the first month of my employment to work on a gas turbine synchroniser fault with some other engineers at EES.
In the future I am looking forward to getting involved in electrical schematic design as well as learning new important software to assist us in projects in the future."
