At McDermott we know that our success in some of the world’s most challenging energy infrastructure depends on the excellence of our engineering. We work on a range of engineering challenges from concept work through to billion dollar, globally-prominent infrastructure projects. Working as part of our Contract management team, you’ll work to deliver a project from a contractual perspective, developing your contractual and commercial knowledge to help ensure contract compliance, overall commercial integrity and timely delivery of our projects.
We now have a fascinating opportunity for Law, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics or Engineering graduates to join our thriving Contract Management team in our offices near Heathrow.
Working in a supporting capacity, you’ll work closely with the Contract Manager and Project Management team on all contractual and commercial aspects of the projects. In particular you will help deliver all project kick off activities, assist with contract kick off meetings, prepare and maintain commercial correspondence and help to prepare and develop project change proposals for the client.
As part of your training, you will receive strong mentorship and development support, progressing in responsibility whilst providing input into the Contract Management team based on your increasing Contract Management knowledge and organisational experience.
You are a dedicated, commercially astute graduate with a pro-active attitude and who relishes a challenge. You’ll need to have a recently awarded Master’s level qualification.
We really value relevant work experience gained through previous placements, internships and work experience so make sure you tell us about this if you have it, particularly where you’ve developed your team-working, organisation, and problem-solving skills. Finally, you must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
You will be offered a competitive salary, joining bonus, an industry leading benefits package that includes relocation expenses, health and dental insurance, a contributory pension scheme, generous annual leave, plus lots more!
We've signed the Gradcracker feedback pledge.
(This means that we will supply feedback if requested after an interview.)
