I first became interested in environmental law during my time studying sustainable development at university. Taylor Wessing's expertise in real estate planning and environmental law and its client base appealed to my interest in environmental issues of the built environment, and I was eager to learn more about this far-reaching area of law.
I first met colleagues in the Real Estate group during my Vacation Scheme in July 2019. As a trainee I approached the partners in the group to express my interest in learning more about real estate and planning, and I was delighted to spend the third seat of my training contract in the Real Estate group.
Taylor Wessing has a collaborative and team-orientated culture. Throughout my training contract, my colleagues supported me and invested their time in my learning. I've now accepted an offer of an NQ position in the Planning team and am very excited to rejoin the team as an NQ in September to work with clients on matters concerning environmental and ESG issues.
