In partnership with the MyPlus Students' Club, our MyPlus Open Day is designed for ambitious students with a disability and/or long-term health condition who want to learn more about careers in law and life at Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer.
Throughout the day, you'll hear from lawyers across the firm, including members of our Disability and Neurodiversity Network, who will share their career journeys, experiences and insights into working at a global law firm. You’ll also find out more about the work we do, gain exclusive insights into our headline-breaking work, take part in commercial awareness sessions and discover more about what the role of a trainee entails.
You'll gain a better understanding of our culture, the opportunities available, and how we support our people to succeed. You'll learn about the resources, workplace adjustments and support available to help everyone thrive. Our Early Careers Recruitment team will also be on hand to answer any questions you might have about the application and assessment process.

The Open Day is open to applications from current university students or graduates from any degree discipline who have a disability* and/or a long-term health condition.
*Disability includes but is not limited to conditions such as visual and hearing impairments, mobility impairments, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), diabetes, epilepsy, dyslexia, dyspraxia, mental health conditions, speech impairments and major illnesses such as cancer and MS.
We look for candidates with a strong and consistent academic record. We typically look for a minimum of AAB at A-level (or equivalent). At university, applicants should be on track to achieve, or have achieved, consistent 2:1s across modules, with an average mark of 63% or above in each year of study (or the international equivalent).
If mitigating circumstances have affected your academic performance at any stage of your education, we strongly encourage you to explain these in your application, as they will be taken into consideration.
