Join us at our Black Talent Open Day to discover what the firm can offer you as you look to kickstart your legal career and discover how we support talented people from all backgrounds to succeed. Over the course of the day, you’ll hear about the work we do, including exclusive insights into one of our headline deals.
You’ll also have the chance to join interactive commercial awareness sessions and hear from our Early Careers team about how to best prepare for the application and assessment process. You'll get a real insight into what it’s like here and how we invest in your growth as you meet trainees and associates from across the firm.
You'll also participate in a Q&A session with colleagues from our Black Employee Network, whose aim is to advocate for and build community among Black lawyers and Business Services professionals, and support the firm's inclusion strategy by promoting the talents, skills and views of Black colleagues.
This exciting opportunity is available to students from black heritage backgrounds, with a keen interest in commercial law. Applicants should be current university students or graduates, with a background in any discipline. We look for candidates with a strong and consistent academic record. We typically look for a minimum of AAB at A-level (or equivalent).
At university, applicants should be on track to achieve, or have achieved, consistent 2:1s across modules, with an average mark of 63% or above in each year of study (or the international equivalent).
