Graduate Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Support Engineer

Our IT team is looking for a Graduate PLM Support Engineer with the passion and determination to make an impact on our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) environments that drive performance through design and simulation across our business, ensuring we maintain our position as an F1 Leader on and off the track. You will have the opportunity to help shape the future of the PLM Environment. 

The Graduate PLM Support Engineer role sits within the PLM team, reporting to the PLM and HPC Support Team Leader. The PLM team is responsible for the support, implementation, integration, and automation of the organisation’s PLM toolsets working closely with various areas across the organisation. You’ll be responsible for the operational running of our Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and PLM systems. You will be the central point of contact for support of the CAD/PLM platform for the Design Office, Operational, Aerodynamics, Manufacturing and Non-F1 departments.

You will thrive on working in a fast-paced and ever-changing digital environment and in a role where you can support and be involved in innovative solutions across a vast portfolio of technologies.

Key Accountabilities:

• Provide first-line user support
• Support data management within the CAD/PLM platform
• Support the engineering methods and processes
• Perform system testing
• Provide user advice and training
• Ensure documentation and procedures are kept current and relevant
• Support system upgrades

Candidate profile:

• The ideal candidate would be educated to a degree level and have a strong interest in CAD, design, methods and data management, and a desire to learn new things
• You must be confident working under your own initiative whilst enjoying the challenge and opportunity of a fast-paced, high-frequency changing environment
• Possess good time management skills and can multitask
• You should have the ability to build stakeholder relationships and good communication and negotiation skills to work well with different functions across the organisation
• We are looking for a self-motivated team player that is passionate about working for our team and has a winning mindset
• You will be able to work independently and to strict deadlines
