Technical Sales

As a KEYENCE Technical Sales Professional, you will become a product expert for one of our specific product divisions, within a protected sales territory. You will have the autonomy to manage your territory as soon as initial training is completed.

Before putting you in charge of your territory, we provide world-class product and sales training, typically at our London headquarters. Training is mainly classroom based; however, during this period you will have the opportunity to accompany more senior members from your division on joint sales visits, to get a real feel for what you will be doing day to day in the role. Training typically lasts between 6-12 weeks depending on the product line you are hired for.

At KEYENCE, not only is our training program paid, but we also provide accommodation Sunday – Friday. From your first day you will have access to a company car.

What will a typical week look like?

Two days a week you will work in your local sales office to follow up on leads and book customer appointments, as well as collaborate with your peers to share information, build your sales skills, and meet with your team.

Three days a week you will take your demonstration unit to your customer sites, showing them how our products can add value to their business. During your time on site with customers you will have the opportunity to build relationships, understand their needs, and provide consultative solutions to the challenges they have.
