Due to an exciting time within our organization, our site in Basingstoke is looking for an intern or graduate to join our team on a 12-month FTC. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to gain development, and in-depth insight to the Aerospace sector. You will be supporting our operations through various departments on a range of key projects, and challenges on a day-to-day basis. You will be part of a team known for their great teamwork ethic, and expertise.

What will you be doing:

Providing support for the Value Stream of the Repair & Overhaul (R&O) of avionics products – supporting activities throughout the supply chain, understanding & developing processes used for the Repair of complex components.

Learning, using and understanding the multi facets of the R&O Aero operation including ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) Tool, (SAP) and factory/ business planning tools.

This will be achieved through a rotation of the various departments as follows:

  • Workshop/Operations
  • Business Analytics
  • Materials Management & Logistics
  • Quality & Regulatory Compliance
  • ·Health & Safety
  • Business Excellence & Customer interface
  • Project Management & Continuous Improvement

The goal is to gain an understanding of the Aerospace industry through direct exposure, day-to-day working within the supply chain (Internal & External), supporting Operations and the product range ensuring Key requirements are met through Championing Problem Solving activities ensuring robust methodology is used, supporting Honeywell Basingstoke in all areas of target achievement

What skills and requirements do you need?

  • It is essential that you are able to join our team by the end of June 2023 as this is a graduate scheme
  • You will have a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in an engineering , business or finance.
  • You will have excellent problem-solving skills
  • A sound knowledge of reading and understanding complex issues
  • You will have great communication skills, written and verbal
  • You will be an excellent team player
  • You need to be proactive, and motivated
