Aircraft Maintenance & Support Engineering

As a graduate Aircraft Maintenance & Support Engineer, you'll work in a team ensuring the continuing airworthiness of your assigned squadron.

BAE Systems Military Air & Information (MAI) is already recognised as an innovative and world class aircraft design, development and manufacturing organisation. It is now developing its portfolio to include Military and Technical Services. At the centre of this strategy is the Aircraft Maintenance & Support (AM&S) Function. AM&S will deliver aircraft services, safely, efficiently and effectively utilising recognised good practice aligned to the emerging military regulatory framework.

Through aligning our Organisation, Processes and Tools by operating the Aircraft Support Business Model, we create new synergies reducing duplication that help us to drive down support service costs and increase operational aircraft availability, whilst ensuring our legislative and regulatory commitments are fully maintained.

Graduates joining MAI AM&S Function will be offered challenging placements both of an operational and strategic nature in a number of areas including Supply Chain, Fleet Planning and Airworthiness. Working as part of a team in the Continuing Airworthiness environment alongside the RAF customer, you will have the opportunity to get involved in a number of activities for a variety of aircraft platforms including Typhoon and Tornado.
