We are looking for a Finance Graduate who would like to help us reach our mission to “earn customer loyalty and drive business growth by providing consistently excellent service”.

Purpose of this role

To learn on the job and off the job skills which will enable the development of the candidate to become the finance leader of the future.

Your key responsibilities are

• Develop an understanding of the finances of the whole BUUK group.
• Develop an understanding of finance processes and systems.
• Develop an understanding financial reporting.
• Develop relationships with key stakeholders to ensure continued financial support is provided to non-financial leaders.
• Develop an understanding of budgeting and forecasting.

Qualifications

A degree (or equivalent) in a business/finance related subject. You will be on track to achieve, or have achieved a minimum of a 2.1.

Experience/Knowledge

• Ability and desire to deliver the highest quality support to internal and external stakeholders.
• Customer focussed.

Abilities/Skills

• Demonstrate strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Excellent listening skills, the ability to build rapport and empathise with customers.
• A positive, friendly, and pro-active attitude.
• Well-developed organisation skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• A passion and motivation for working to individual and team targets.
• Proactive can-do attitude.

Desirable

• Experience of using finance systems.
• Experience working as part of a team.
• Understanding of Microsoft Office including Excel.

Conditions of Employment

• You will hold a driving licence or be in the process of obtaining one.

(The graduate scheme follows a three-stage interview process. Candidates who are successful at the telephone interview stage will be invited to attend an Assessment Centre at our head office in Woolpit, Suffolk on Tuesday 1st December. Please note that this is currently the only Assessment Centre scheduled).
