Job Description

Siemens Healthineers has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated Digitalisation & Business Analytics Intern to join our Healthcare Diagnostics business for a 12 month placement.

Our Healthcare Diagnostics business is based at the well-established and modern facility in Llanberis, located next to Snowdonia National Park.

The facility manufactures and distributes reagents for in-vitro diagnostic medical devices used in hospitals worldwide to aid the diagnosis of medical conditions. This 12 month internship role will be mainly home based, with some occasional travel to site required.

We are currently looking to revolutionise our manufacturing operations with Industry 4.0 standards of connectivity and automation, digitalise existing business processes and empower our end users with data collection and analytics tools.

Across a 12-month placement you will help manage and track projects, create and support solutions developed with Microsoft 365 technologies and have the opportunity to become a visible and vocal proponent of digital transformation.

This full-time digitalisation project internship is mainly home based, and offers a competitive internship salary and the chance to join a positive and inclusive team.

As a Digitalisation & Business Analytics Intern, you will work with our Data & Business Analytics team for 12 months, starting in Summer 2023. You will:

• Provide valuable input to innovative projects across the business which have a real impact on our future
• Help manage and track project requirements and actions with our Digital Project Managers
• Learn to use Microsoft 365 technologies such as PowerApps, Power Automate and Power BI and utilise them in improving business processes
• Potentially work with SQL Server and programming languages such as Python for more complex data aggregation and analysis
• Support our transformation into a digital business in a myriad of other ways

To apply for this Digitalisation & Business Analytics Intern role, you will need to be currently studying towards a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, Business Analytics, Data Analytics or a related discipline. You will also need to be a creative thinker and problem solver and have the ability to adapt to a busy organisation. Additional requirements include:

• A flexible working approach, self-motivated and good time management skills
• Experience working in a team
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• An enthusiasm for working in the healthcare industry
• An excellent user of Microsoft Office 365 software
