We offer technology-focussed scholarships to enthusiastic students who are planning to study STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) related subjects at university.
Our aim is to foster close links with education, and to provide opportunities for young people to gain a greater awareness of the role science and technology play in today’s world.
This is a great opportunity to experience life in a challenging but rewarding work environment whilst doing what you enjoy and gaining skills that will help you fast track your career.
You’ll work at Cambridge Consultants as a salaried employee for approximately 10 months between finishing school and starting at university, and join a team aligned to your technical interests and career aspirations.
Your first working day will be Tuesday 7th September 2027. During this time, you’ll have the chance to work on challenging projects and take part in the day-to-day work of the company alongside highly experienced engineers, interspersed with periods of practical training relevant to your chosen discipline.
As an employee of Cambridge Consultants, you’ll also enjoy our many benefits, including participation in the company bonus scheme, 37-hour flexible working week, free breakfast, free lunches and refreshments plus 25 days annual holiday (pro rata, excluding bank holidays).
At the end of your ‘gap year’ placement with Cambridge Consultants, you’ll have the opportunity to apply for an annual bursary and summer vacation work. If successful, you’ll be eligible to receive a generous annual bursary for the duration of your first degree as well as guaranteed further employment with Cambridge Consultants during your university summer vacations.
Please ensure your CV includes your GCSE (or equivalent) grades and any A Level (or equivalent) grades or predicted grades. Please also highlight any relevant STEM experience, work experience, extracurricular activities, and personal interests that help us understand your skills, interests, and ambitions.
