Our graduate programmes will prepare you with the skills you need to make a difference. Here, we'll help you make the very most of your talent; empowering you to be your best, whichever area you choose to join us.
If you are passionate about business or engineering, our graduate programmes offer a range of specialised opportunities in different business and engineering functions. Some are designed to develop technical experts and business specialists, whilst others are designed to develop managers at an accelerated pace, resulting in a leadership role.
You’ll accelerate your learning with real world challenges, and be supported in your development towards a successful career within one of our UK businesses.
The graduate programme is designed to give you ownership of your career aspirations, supported by training and practical experience to help you succeed. After an induction in your chosen UK business, you’ll be assigned a mentor who will offer insights and experience when you need it. You’ll also participate in development modules with graduates across our different businesses. All of this is designed to complement your career development, fuel your ambition, and give depth to your training and career.
We’re looking for graduates and undergraduates who have the passion and commitment we need to help us stay ahead. To join us on the graduate programme you must have a minimum of a 2:2 Bachelor's degree in a STEM subject related to your chosen area of work. Once you begin your search you will find specific details on preferred degrees within each role type. We’ll also look for you to demonstrate exceptional problem solving and analytical skills and have the flexibility and resilience to thrive.
We ask all candidates to apply online using our application form to ensure our selection process is fair and consistent. Following your online application you will be invited to undertake a virtual assessment involving gamified assessment challenges and recorded questions. If you are successful, you’ll be invited to either a virtual or face-to-face interview.
Our main recruitment window runs from the beginning of September every year.
Please note: where sufficient applications have been received, roles will be closed, therefore early application is advised.
We are an inclusive employer and strive to recruit, retain and inspire the best people from the widest pool of talent. We encourage and welcome applications from all sections of society and are happy to discuss any adjustments or arrangements, as required, to support your application. Please be aware that many roles working for BAE Systems will be subject to both security and export control restrictions. These restrictions mean that factors including your nationality, any previous nationalities you have held, and/or your place of birth may limit those roles that you can perform for the organisation.
We've signed the Gradcracker feedback pledge.
(This means that we will supply feedback if requested after an interview.)
