The CIMA Finance graduate scheme is 3 years in duration.
There will be a minimum of three business rotations between various Finance departments each fulfilling a specific role. Through the rotations, you will gain experience in a range of business areas which may include, but are not limited to, Commercial, Supply Chain, Milk Buying and Corporate Finance.
We also have a number of production and distribution facilities and shared services centre and there may be an opportunity to experience working alongside one of these teams too.
Arla will fully support your development throughout the 3 years on the scheme, with a programme designed to prepare you for future management roles. Central to this is, we will fund you through your professional CIMA qualifications, including providing paid leave for study during working hours and exams.
You will form part of a network of graduates whereby we will further your development in key leadership skills and insights into your learning and work styles, providing you with a suite of skills to succeed in your finance career with us.
Responsibilities will grow during your time on the scheme, with the expectation that you will not only successfully complete the roles presented, but will push yourself and your colleagues to identify areas for further improvement. This will include managing and taking ownership for a selection of annual projects.
You will receive first hand training on the job, you will be working in a fast paced environment, at the forefront of the business making decisions about Arla Foods. You will work cross functionally and will make strong relationships across the business.
After successfully completing the programme you will have gained fantastic experience working for one of the largest FMCG businesses in the UK, you will have a full overview of the finance function in Arla and will be ready to move into a permanent role within the team, ideally placed in roles such as Finance Analyst, Finance Controller or Accounting Specialist.
We look for candidates who are educated to degree level having achieved at least a 2:1 in any STEM discipline with 300 UCAS points. You will be ambitious and motivated with a strong desire to build a career within finance and the food industry.
You will display excellent communication skills and will be comfortable interacting with a range of stakeholders at different levels, relationships building is one of your key strengths. Strong organisational and project management skills are crucial as well as a keen eye for detail. Finally you will be highly computer-literate and will be able to use these skills to analyse data and build presentations.
