The role:
As a Cyber Security Intern, you will help drive our goals by:
Perform analytics on SOC incidents and other security data, identifying common trends for tuning and supporting the delivery of management reports.
Assist with in-depth investigations across endpoints, identity, cloud, and network environments.
Triage and respond to user reported phishing emails.
Help respond to user queries about cyber security best practice or cyber security concerns.
Identify and lead new areas for improvement within SOC ways of working.
Support the engineering team in deployment of new tooling.
Support the vulnerability management team in prioritising and responding to vulnerabilities.
Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:
Currently studying for a degree in:
Cyber Security
Computer Science
Information Technology
Network Engineering
Digital Forensics
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to investigate issues and identify root causes.
Proactive and self-motivated.
Cyber security principles and best practices.
