AOS (Airbus Operating System) is our daily way of working to improve performance.
AOS provides teams with a set of standards (called ‘Bricks’) to manage and improve daily activities through routines that align all Functions.
With a proven impact on performance, they cover all the key aspects that have to be managed in the workplace: Manpower, Machines, Materials, Measurement, Methods (5M) and Environment. AOS defines the best ways of working for all Airbus employees. Once standards are in place and variability has been reduced, continuous improvement can be applied to raise the performance level.
The aim of ‘Kaizen’ (or ‘change for the better’) is to identify as a team the pain points or opportunities, define action plans and quickly implement solutions. AOS is involved in a wide range of business improvement topics, which will give you an enriching and thorough experience as an Intern.
Our placements are open to Undergraduates only. Therefore it is mandatory for candidates to be an undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement. Please inform your graduation date on your application.

SECURITY CLEARANCE: You will be subject to a BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) check. You may also need to gain UK SC-level Security Clearance or Export Control, depending on the role.
