Project Management Office Analyst Placement (12 months)

Space Systems delivers some of Airbus’s most ambitious projects, including OneSat and Eurostar NEO. To succeed in this fast-paced environment, our Project Management Office drives key processes across all project phases.

These projects offer a challenging, dynamic, and high paced environment where a strong Project Management Team is key to success.

Within this team and in order to meet these challenges, the Project Management Office contributes key roles to support the project team to proactively drive the different Project Management processes.  

What you will be doing:

• Support the management of space programmes and projects using standard PMO processes, methods, and tools;
• Analyze and integrate quantitative and qualitative project data (time, cost, resources, quality) to support key decision-making and reporting;
• Assist in creating project plans, schedules, and work breakdown structures;
• Contribute to risk and opportunity management, mitigation planning, and lessons learned capture.
• Track milestone performance, support phase reviews, and enable effective stakeholder communication.

Requirements:

Our placements are open to Undergraduates only. Therefore it is mandatory for candidates to be an undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement. Please inform your graduation date on your application.

This role will involve working in areas which require stakeholder, brand and reputation management and involvement with internal and external audiences.

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the following:

• Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Analytics, or a related field;
• Proficiency in core productivity tools (Google Workspace and Microsoft Office);
• Strong collaborative mindset and proactive initiative.

SECURITY CLEARANCE: You will be subject to a BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) check. You may also need to gain UK SC-level Security Clearance or Export Control, depending on the role.
