We're the strategic hub responsible for the end-to-end business and industrial orchestration of Single Aisle wings, ensuring a seamless flow to our global Final Assembly Lines in Toulouse, Hamburg, Mobile, and Tianjin.

What you will be doing:
This is your chance to get hands-on experience. You'll be supporting the team with activities like:
Connecting with Teams: You'll work alongside different departments and learn how we collaborate with our international assembly lines. It's a great way to develop your communication skills in a global setting.
Understanding a Wing's Journey: Get insights into how aircraft wings are designed and built by supporting our engineering teams on technical improvements. You'll see how assembly processes and engineering specs come together.
Improving How We Work: Contribute to projects looking at our production capacity and how to make things run even better. You’ll see how strategic thinking impacts a real factory floor.
Exploring Digital Tools: Help us use digital technologies to improve our processes. You’ll get to apply your digital skills in a real industrial environment and learn about new tools.
Contributing to Key Projects: Be part of exciting initiatives focused on the future of our wing production. This could involve anything from digital improvements to making our manufacturing flow more efficient.
You'll learn about project management basics and practice your presentation skills.
Learning about Project Costs: Get an introduction to how project budgets are managed with support and training from the team.
Solving Real Problems: Work with our teams and suppliers when challenges pop up. You’ll help investigate issues, understand their root causes, and contribute to finding solutions – great for building your problem-solving toolkit!

Requirements:
Our placements are open to Undergraduates only. Therefore it is mandatory for candidates to be an undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement. Please inform your graduation date on your application.

This role will involve working in areas which require stakeholder, brand and reputation management and involvement with internal and external audiences.
As the successful candidate, you must be able to demonstrate the following:
Studying for a degree in areas like Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing), Business Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain / Logistics, Computer Science or something similar.
Tech-Savvy & Eager to Learn: You're comfortable with tools like Google Workspace and keen to learn about new digital tools.
A Team Player: You enjoy working with others and are happy to collaborate.
A Clear Thinker: You can look at a problem, think it through, and help break it down.
Ready for a Challenge: You're keen to learn new things and can adapt when plans change – it’s a dynamic environment!
Benefits:
Salary: £24,246
35 hours per week

25 days' holiday plus bank holidays
SECURITY CLEARANCE: You will be subject to a BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) check. You may also need to gain UK SC-level Security Clearance or Export Control, depending on the role.
