"Graduate quantity surveyor."

What made you want to apply for a Graduate role at Morgan Sindall Construction?

"I heard that Morgan Sindall is a great company to work for and has a welcoming atmosphere, which makes a graduate role here perfect as I can feel comfortable asking questions."

How has your degree come in useful in your work?

"My degree has allowed me to get an idea of the day to day of a qualified QS, it also has helped me understand a lot of terminology and ideas that are encountered within my role."

What development opportunities have you had? How has MSC supported you in this?

"I have had the opportunity to apply for RICS. Morgan Sindall Construction has given me plenty of resources, for example, arranging video calls with RICS members and gave a catalogue of CPD to choose from. Other development opportunities include site visits to other projects which has helped me visualise the construction process and gave me insight to multiple methods of working."

What one piece of advice would you give to anyone looking to apply to the Graduate programme?

"Don’t be afraid to ask questions and utilise any resources available to you."
