Family friendly policies - We want colleagues who choose to have a family, or who have existing caring duties to continue their career with Morgan Sindall, so we are committed to helping in a way that best suits people's individual circumstances. We want to share with you how our family-friendly policies could support you now or in the future.
Maternity leave - After 26 weeks or more at Morgan Sindall you can benefit from 26 weeks of maternity leave at full pay and 26 weeks at the same rate as SMP (Statutory Maternity Pay).
Paternity - After 26 week or more at Morgan Sindall you can benefit from 4 weeks leave at full pay. The first 2 weeks must be taken as per statutory guidance and the other 2 weeks within the first 12 months.
Shared parental leave - In line with our maternity and adoption policies, after 26 weeks or more at Morgan Sindall you can benefit from up to 26 weeks of shared parental leave at full pay.
Adoption - In line with our maternity leave policy, after 26 weeks or more at Morgan Sindall you can benefit from 26 weeks of adoption leave at full pay and 26 weeks at the same rate as SMP.
Carers - The ability to take a maximum of five days paid carers leave to allow for attendance at medical appointments in a rolling 12 months.
Emergency care - If there is an emergency involving an immediate family member, you shouldn’t have to worry about work. To support our people, we offer all our employees up to 3 days emergency leave.
Bereavement - At Morgan Sindall we understand that bereavement is difficult, therefore all employees are entitled to 2 weeks bereavement leave for immediate family. The leave can be taken over 56 weeks in 1 week blocks or a full 2 weeks.
Paid leave for those serving in the Reserves - We offer two weeks of fully paid leave for those who are serving in the Reserves and are deployed or are required to attend training.
