During my Master’s degree in Engineering Design at the University of Bristol, I undertook a year-long placement at Hoare Lea.
My favourite project worked on during that time was a local community centre development. I enjoyed the level of responsibility given as well as the breadth of experience and knowledge represented in my design team and colleagues in general.
Given how much I enjoyed my placement, I returned to Hoare Lea as a graduate in 2022 and have since enjoyed working with some great people as well as being involved in STEM outreach, organising work experience for young people.
