We established our first office in Germany over 25 years ago, shortly followed by offices in Poland, The Netherlands, Denmark and Greece. Our work draws on both international experience, local presence and expertise in local building regulations, combined with a strong focus on sustainable development.

Polish Army Museum (Warsaw, Poland)This prestigious development stands on the site of the Warsaw Citadel. Marrying new design with existing heritage buildings, the majority of the space is occupied by the Polish Army Museum. Buro Happold worked alongside the architect WXCA to realise a competition-winning design for one of two new museum buildings at the north and south ends of the iconic Guard Square, as well as a two-storey car park beneath. |

Rådhus Bodø (Bodø, Norway)Buro Happold, in collaboration with Atelier Lorentzen Langkilde, won an open design competition to revitalise the city council premises in Bodø. Over the course of the project, we restored and upgraded the existing properties, and delivered a new civic headquarters that provides flexible working conditions for staff and a welcoming space for the public. |
