I found out about Emerson and the Graduate Engineering Programme they had at a Networking event hosted by De Montfort University. I decided to join Emerson due to it being a leader in the Automation Sector as well as being presented with opportunities that would make me to explore the different business areas within the company.
The Programme involved hands-on, classroom and online trainings. The majority of the training was held in Cluj, Romania in the Emerson Training Centre, and it was a fantastic opportunity to network with different colleagues and meet people from different countries such as: France, Belgium, Ireland and Prague to name a few.
The majority of the Programme involved working in different projects where from each one I gained different experiences. I was able to work with our customers successfully in different roles from testing systems to configuring hardware. Also, through the scope of these projects I covered both Hardware and Software engineering which has helped me become a much better Engineer.
By the end of the Graduate Programme, I had developed the necessary skills to move on to my next role as a Systems Engineer, and I believe that with Emerson I will be able to achieve my full potential as an Engineer.
I would highly recommend the Emerson Graduate Engineering Programme if you are looking to develop into a versatile Engineer and have a challenging yet exciting career!
