This role is available to candidates who qualify for a placement year and will commence Summer of 2027.
The requirements are to be onsite part of the week so you will need to be able to travel or relocate to the location on your own behalf.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Support the Capital Manager to run internal systems to ensure clear understanding of current capital expenditure, coordinating input from all functions worldwide
Support the Capital Manager to run the capital forecast process and business functions to manage capital allocation / risks and exposures
Ensure timely reporting of capital status both within Cummins Components and Software (CCS) and onward line leadership
Respond to short notice capital requirements (create analysis, reports / presentations for stakeholders)
Work closely with worldwide finance functions in CCS to support project work and the day-to-day administration of capital management systems
Understanding new business requirements, support improvement and undertake a post investment audit
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Working towards a Degree in either Business or Accounting ideally with a background in Finance or Business Processes, databases, systems operation and analysis
A working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. An understanding of Power BI would be advantageous, however full training would be provided.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, organisational and time management skills with the ability to work well within a team and use your initiative and a willingness to take on responsibility
