Why you chose Sky and your programme?

I decided to work for Sky because it’s an innovative and influential company. I joined via the Software Engineering Academy, it is an illustrious Graduate Programme that is streamlined and provides solid foundations for my development as a Software Developer.

What have you been involved in since you joined?

Ever since I joined, I have been involved in developing a recruitment iPad application for HR which has been used in various recruitment fairs.

What are you looking forward to doing in your role in the future?

I look forward to working with different teams within Sky, due to the vast quantity of quality products available.

What have you enjoyed most?

I have enjoyed working with my talented team members and developing solutions on a daily basis.

What has surprised you most?

I have been surprised by how dynamic and agile the company is. Whereas other companies are confined with more structured systems, Sky believes in constant improvement and the concept of embracing change.

Has it been what you expected, why/why not?

I thought the transition to a corporate company would bring barriers to development. But instead I have been allowed to collaborate and improve accordingly.

Any advice for students, looking to apply now?

For prospective applicants I would advise to be yourself and your passion will shine through your application.
