"Day-to-day, my work is exciting and really varied because I’m working on projects across the bank."
I studied Mathematics and Computer Sciences at an engineering school in France. Finance attracted me because it’s a field in which those subjects are applied on a daily basis – rather than being abstract, they become very concrete.
In 2017, I joined the Market Risk Analyst graduate programme, but I’ve also rotated across Rates, Equities, FXLM and Commodities. It’s the chance to bring back the knowledge I’ve gained in other areas and pass it onto my team. Day-to-day, my work is exciting and really varied because I’m working on projects across the bank.
BNP Paribas is one of the few banks with a balance between being surrounded by very technical and knowledgeable people you can learn from and actually having a great environment. My line manager lets me know about the opportunities to work abroad which is definitely an option in the future. I love the spirit of the bank and I can see myself here for many years.
